How To Play Sudoku

No arithmetic skills and no calculations, Sudoku is a game about placing numbers in squares applying some rules of logic. Kids and adults all can play this interesting mind-sharpening game, provided they know how to play it.

Before learning about how to play sudoku, it is important to know the real objective of this game. The main objective of sudoku is to fill all the blank squares in a game with the correct numbers in a 9 by 9 square.

The first rule of playing sudoku is that every row of 9 numbers should include all digits from 1 to 9 in any order. The second rule of playing sudoku is that every column of 9 numbers should include all digits from 1 to 9 in any order. The last rule of playing sudoku is that every 3 by 3 subsection of the 9 by 9 square should include all the digits from 1 to 9.

Playing sudoku will be fun only if you know the tact. First of all, try scanning the rows and columns to analyze where the missing number can be placed as per the above-mentioned rules. Remember, that inserting a number at a certain place should not repeat the number in the row, column or that 3 by 3 subsection, else at the end it will create conflict in the game.

Check whether all the digits from 1 to 9 are present in each row, column and 3 by 3 subsections. You need to do some deduction, which is not so easy to do. Try using pencil to solve sudoku games, as you might want to erase to reinsert in some boxes. Try not to insert numbers blindly rather use your brain aptly to make some sense.

At certain boxes, you might feel that not one but 2 or 3 numbers may be inserted, so the best way to fill such boxes is not by one number but by all the options in small digits. You can then pick the correct one after matching other options.
